Hi to all you MDD DJ Members,
Just thought I'd introduce myself to everyone. My name is Rob and I started entertaining 25 years ago by singing in a Rock band. We had some local success before the inevitable split and I continued with my own group, playing live gigs and recording our own material but it became apparent after many years of rejection that we were never going to be rich and famous. It was then that I had this bright idea to run a mobile Disco & Karaoke as I still enjoy entertaining. The established ones all seem to have plenty of money to splash out on expensive kit:rolleyes: Bought all the equipment new locally(against advice from a DJ with over 30 years experience) at the begining of September and havn't had a free weekend since. Perhaps I'm not charging enough (around £100), but I'd rather be busy at first whilst learning the trade. My intention is to "go digital" in the new year and I would appreciate any advice on all aspects from this fantastic forum. :Hi there:
