Hi guys, hope everyone is doing well with tonnes of gigs coming up for the festive season

I thought I'd drop in with a quick update on my progress with my setup & vision, so, I joined the forum a few months back asking for advice on a simple audio player to play background music in between my acoustic guitar singing/playing cover version sets, and ended up buying the Denon prime go on a whim as it sounded amazing

Well, since then, I've got kind of addicted to buying DJ kit and have ended up with a couple of 200 watt moving heads, a pair of wireless uplighters and a subscription to Soundswitch trying to figure out how to get it the DMX working in the prime go, I've not managed to get it working in the prime go yet, but I've managed to get the soundswitch controlling the lights using my PC, I've just got to work out how to save the files & export them into the prime go so when I push play on the prime go, the lights respond to the music with no need for a laptop or PC

So, does anyone have any good tutorial video advice on the basics of learning DMX, soundswitch & denon prime go? I think I need to start at the very beginning as I've kind of jumped into the deep end without knowing anything about DMX or any of the terminology, for example, what is the difference between a 12 channel light and a 24 channel light, and how come when I load up certain preset profiles in soundswitch the lights respond and move, but no lights come on

Basically, I need to learn & understand the basics so I get what I'm doing instead of just getting lucky by trial & error if you know what I mean?

If you could point me in the right direction of where to start I'd be grateful

My plan for next year is now to try to incorporate a bit of DJing into my acoustic guitar/singing set as an extra selling point to the pub/bar managers

Cheers guys
