If you are a member or Macro, they have a storming deal on a basic Tom Tom right now, should come in just under your budget

DJs have to GET to the gig before they can do the gig: plus it's in 'The Lounge' (ie - the place where non-disco related chat is supposed to be)

He's already said that it's a Garmin Nuvi 300 (wake up at the back there! :p ). Quick Google search reveals plenty of info, including http://www.garmin.com/products/nuvi/

However you can buy these new in the Uk for £199 and they dont have speed camera software built in for either fixed or mobile cameras:)

Probably thinks that DJs spend their whole time on forums, and don't go out gigging!

Come back when you're a DJ & I'll explain it to you
Probably thinks that DJs spend their whole time on forums, and don't go out gigging!Only when the forums work & there's more than a handful of members on them :D

I have a Garmin Streetpilot i3, very good little unit - £169 new from Amazon, there's quite a few on Ebay too from around 80 quid s/h.
No speed camera info, but you can upload this from their website... I have to use the old-fashioned methods called 'Not Breaking The Speed Limit' (this is not too difficult with a fully loaded van) and 'Keeping My Eyes On The Road Not The Sat Nav'...

I have a Tom Tom One. It is fantastic and has never let me down. Best thing I own! I'm useless at navigation! You can download POI (points of interest) that beep at you when you are near speed camera's.
I can highly recomend TomTom
