Nope, i use request slips with my details on though. Never thought to ask them to text their requests though. Might add that since the number is on there anyway.

At every venue I work I make sure that I place a laminated sheet on every table, when people read the sheet (they do when they sit at the tables and have a bored moment) it tells them my name and invites them to make requests throughout the evening, it also tells them that flashing lights will be used later on so if they have any problems with that to come and see me and the last bit (sneaky advertising) says 'And if it's too far for you to walk over to me then text your request in to 07833 xxxxxxx'

Since I have been doing that I have received probably about 50+ flirty texts, numerous 'Are you single?' texts etc etc etc, never once has anyone texted me a request BUT plenty of people have added my number to their mobile phone and then rang me up at a future date to book me (I know because I always ask how someone got my number when I take a booking).

Anyone else do that or similar????

I have made a laminated sheet with my details on and i have put velcro stips on the back so can stick it on the side of the speaker! So when they come asking for requests/glowsticks they can see it i have quite a few people lokking at it and i also place business cards on the tables!
