Mossy

The original poster of this thread was banned for editing his first posts in threads he started to make the rest of the thread nonsensical & hard to figure out for everyone else. (amongst other things)

This is just one of the ones he did it with.

Trying to sabotage the forum is not nice

Thanks to everyone who has made a suggestion.

Every New Years Eve party I have a running quiz theme, the guests know that I will be playing records that have a common link throughout the night and my flashing scrolling LED message board informs them of what the prize currently stands at (it comes down each time I play another record)

So this year it will start at £1200 when I play the first record, 30 mins later I play another and the prize comes down by £100, and so on until it either gets won or there is no money left in the prize fund.

No I don't provide the £1200, the venue does because it gets people in early (we never repeat tracks nor do we refer back to them, so if you are not there at the start we won't tell you what you have missed, other people might but we won't) and they make it up on ticket sales and beer sales.

This is the 5th year I will be doing this and the links are always obvious when you hear it but bloody hard to figure out, and from memory I think the most it has ever cost the venue was £300.

So, a big big thank you to all who suggested tracks it really saved me some serious thinking time

Mossy

AND NO, I AM NOT TELLING YOU WHERE THE VENUE IS DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING THAT!!!!!!!!!!
