Think theres bit of dust in one of channels on mixer little crackle occasionly ok to use contact cleaner a little spray in there ?

its under warranty but am selling it just wanted quick fix

Replace the fader before cleaning it?
A very expensive way to do things.
All faders need cleaning eventually because of dust and crap that gets in there.
Try (carefully) a bit of WD40 - it's done the trick for me before.

....ive done it before no problems but i suppose its a slight risk...:)

Try (carefully) a bit of WD40 - it's done the trick for me before.
wd40 can actualy do more dammage in the long run as it breaks down the carbon in the tracks themselves, it does work as a quick fix if you intend to changes the faders very soon tho
the propper stuff to use is servisol super 10

Yeah i use sevisol on pots on my amp as well as mixer, works well most of the time. Crakle is probably something like a tarnish of smoke crap etc on the track. Bit of cleaner on it and move it from full to off a few times to help the cleaner shift it. Works 9 times out of 10. 10 time it blows the mixer up.....just kidding (fingers crossed) ;)
