lol :D The company FAL who used to make the lightboxes back in the 80s, as well as those twin decks etc. I assume they're not the same as f.a.l, the italian lighting manufacturer?

Wooo - takes me back to the Youth Club days - only inputs were the two turntables and one microphone and that was it. If you wanted to play cassette you went in via the microphone socket at ultra low level and then it still sounded awful.
Oh the memories.....

Even 20 odd years ago I seem to remember DJs being fairly derisive about those...

I originally done discos some 25 years ago, and yes i had FAL lights, and i think it was a citronic twin deck. I did discos upto the age of abouit 25, when for other reasons i had to quit. In later life, i still have the buzz hence starting again a couple of years back.
My very first Discos were done with my Dad taking me to and from venues.
OH, are those FAL lights for sale?

Depending on how old you are and how old you feel could be interesting!
I'm 36 (last Wednesday!) so, depending on your answer, could be considered old or young! :D
