Help Needed, Similar Tunes

Dear All,

am pretty new to this but have my first paying party on saturday. The guy whos party it is has request songs by 'The Killers' & 'SnowPatrol', I know these grups but am unfamiliar with other music in this genre im assuming thinks like U2 and oasis etc. has anyone got any ideas to help me .
