There is quite a difference between regions.

Where I live, we are on the end of a peninsula and the further you venture "inland" you can tell the the difference on a local scale. I could imagine it being the same on a national scale.

I go for nights out in manchester quite frequently, and the nightlife is a total different culture to where i'm from.

Well - I'm in Stoke where, I feel, "The North" officially begins, and I've never heard of it....

I've heard of it, but only because Ken Bruce mentioned it a while ago on radio 2.

Right - this rings a bell - the local '70s' disco bar (called Flaires - very apt ;) ) play this track and there is some kinda dance to it as I had some girls who go there attend a party I was DJing for and they asked me for it and did some dance to it that I've never seen before that night.

I've loved that track since it came out, tried it a few times because I like it, to zero response.

I like it too, but wouldn't consider it well known enough to play at a gig (unless it was a pub)

Played it as a request on Saturday. The dancefloor stayed full, but no special dance.

I'll try it again tomorow in Sheffield, then we'll see.

Not really, we've been known to go up just to have a beer on a Saturday night off.
