Been offered a Job in a new club. They want to know how much I charge etc. and it looks very similar to the other scam where the guy gets overpaid and the cash didn't actually come through.
Just be careful guys.I would guess this offer will be flying around a lot in the next few weeks.

I got the email too

I am a secretary to a newly established club and we are in need of a DJ that would be working as a DJ in the club.I would like to know if you can take up this offer and how much you do charge.

I prompted for more details and got this reply

The name of the club is ultimate friends club, the club members have just paid for a biulding to be used as club house, but estate Agent promised them that he would find one in london.
The members want to launch a party on 6th january 2007,and they want a DJ to DJ in the event and also to parmanent him to work as a DJ in the club, when they start full operation in 1st febuary 2007.The Dj would be needed every friday and saturdays in a week, from 9:00pm to 6:30am every each friday and saturday.I am requesting from a DJ from you.
Get back to me with your charges and your acceptable methods of payment if you can handle this job.
Mike.

Yup....I got it too...pity how the spelling really bad, the other thing is regarding the times...6.30am finish? eh do not think so Fife Council would have a canary lol, also ultimate friends club??? Sounds like a place that Tommy Sheridan would perhaps frequent lol, Also did you guys notice the times the emails were sent 4.51am , who would honestly email a business proposal at this time of the morning....well except maybe ang who never seems to sleep.

Nah think i will leave it lol

8000 watts! I sent a reply of £1200 and it bounced - so they've been clobbered obviously by yahoo and the account stopped.

Almost as good an email as from Dolly Ebabbs and the others who enquire for discos at various locations throughout the country.
