Party Games for adults

Hi all

I'm doing my works Xmas do and I'm after some ideas for games, if anyone one can help please. Nothing too risque or too complex either. Basically easy to execute but a great giggle.

Ages range from 17 - 50+

I've only ever done games for kids, not for adults.

Any ideas peeps??? HELP!!!

Get your guests into teams and get a few balls of string.

Get the teams into lines and they have to thread the string down their tops, down their trousers or skirts and then onto the next person who starts at the bottom and works the string up, until everyone has done it and the team that finished first wins.

As the string goes down the line it generally gets tighter and tighter pulling people 'closer' together if you see what I mean!

There's also a game that involves eating a banana, but I fear it may be slightly risque for a company bash....

Then there's the old 'pass the orange / balloon' down the line without using your hands

As adult as you like is to ask for the first one to bring an item for a prize, eg size six ladies shoe, cuddly toy, item of underwear,aardvark, the only limit is your imagination,or nerve!:)

Done a great one the other night, musical status for adults, simply when the music stops each couple have to get into the best sexual position, the worst or most boring are out first and so on, was very funny to see.

ok here goes....

4 men in a seat, one in each corner of the dance floor, 4 women with handbags round each guy. You play pretty women (3 mins) and the girls have to use thier belonging's, ie make up clothing etc and turn the guy into a girl, then get a bar steward to judge, but the guys who by this time the girls have renamed, have to dance to Man I feel like a woman...the winner then wins a free pint etc, This one sounds risque but i did it twice last year at two of my company do's.

The next one is get the ladies up on the dance floor, give them an item and they need to go get it (empty Becks bottle etc) the ones who are last back or can't get the item sit down, you usually end up with the final item being a pair of boxers etc...

Final game - the poor guy who had removed his boxers in the last game has to get as many pairs of womens shoes in 20 seconds, and place them in the middle of the dance floor, then mix them all up etc. Then play some music, and ask the women to come and get thier shoes, last one to walk away with thier shoes has to do a forfeit, perhaps down a drink, sing a song, etc

However, I do believe that some of the guests will be up for a laugh, but I also fear, some of them are a tad prudish - lol

Any other ideas?

A couple I used at an end of show celebration for theatre staff (I'm sure I made a thread asking for suggestions then too) were :

Musical Chairs - it's still just as much fun as it used to be as kids, they loved it!
Dancing with balloon - couple have to dance holding balloon between themselves, without using hands. Got to the last 2 couples, and they were dancing too 'safe', so I announced that the best dance moves were gonna win it if it was still a stalemate, then put Katrina & The Waves - Walking On Sunshine on :D

one that i have been doing this year is getting adults into groups of two's
handing them some toilet tissue rolls,

first couple to make there partner into a mummy before the music stops wins a bottle of bubbly:)

Bit basic BUT I did this on holiday 2 weeks ago--I thought it was brilliant.

Especially after a few drinks---and I won!

Everyone on the Dance floor then you call out a number ( depends on number of dancers on floor) say between 5 and 8. Everyone has to hug each other in a circle of say 8 ---anyone who doesnt get into a circle is OUT.

Come and join our circle etc.

Keep doing this and its amazing how much you get to like the people you are hugging in the circles.

Eventually run it down to three people.

Then call circle of 2--1 gets left out---2 remaining get a prize.

May sound childish, but believe me--having done it its really funny.

hi here is a game that goes down well.
get 10 guys up on the floor
ask them to get a female to join them.
when the couples are up on dance floor explain to them that they wont be dancing with there partner,they just had to bring them up.
get the ladies to form a circle all joining hands.
get the guys to form a circle on the outside of the circle.(you should have 2 circles).
when the music starts ladies go in a clockwise direction guys go in an anticlockwise direction.play an upbeat song hi energy ectwhen the music stops ladies turn to face your partner.you will now be asked to perform a task.
i usally use dances.
no 1 take your partner for the twist(play chubby checker lets twist again).
back in to your 2 circles again.
no 2 take your partner for thr tango(play tango music)
back into 2 circles again.
no 3 take partner for gay gordons(play gay gordons tune).
back into 2 circles again
no 4 get men to get down on 1 knee (play the can can) get lady to do best can can for her man.
back into 2 circles again
no5 last one get ladies down on one knee(play stripper music) get man to do his best strip for the ladies.

The better way (IMHO ) is to have three left, announce two and when the lone person is convinced they have lost, add the rider that one of the two must be the DJ! It can take a long time for them to work it out.:)
