Been booked for a Christmas party for Sunday and have been asked to keep the classic party cheese to a minimum and play more chart stuff and rap. I'm not the worlds biggest rap fan and dunno what works at parties.... I have the following tracks to use, are they any good and also what would I need?

50 Cent - In The Club, Candy Shop, Love It Or Leave It, Window Shopper
Snoop Dogg - Drop It Like It's Hot, Still D.R.E., Signs
2 Pac - Changes
Notorious BIG - Mo Money Mo Problems
Missy Elliott - Lose Control

Also some oldschool stuff like Run DMC, Beastie Boys and even House of Pain!

I also need some R 'n' B ideas but I'm sure the best stuff will be on the Now albums.

Cheers.

If its a commercial mix of RNB and hip hop you want "drop" some of these homey:

in no particular order, new and old stuff-
Usher-yeah
chris brown-run it
beyonce-check on it, crazy in love, deja vu
blackstreet-no diggity
chamillionaire-ridin
akon-smack that
cassie-me and u
warren g-regulators
nelly-hot in herre
notorius B.I.G-nasty girl
nelly furtado-man eater, promiscuous
2 pak + dr dre-california love
puff daddy-no money no problems
donnell jones- u know whats up
missy elliot-lose control, get ur freak on
sean paul-get busy, baby boy
nerd-she wants to move
faith evans-love like this
kanye west-touch the sky, gold digger,
ciara- one two step
damien marley-welcome to jamrock, the master has come back, all night
jay z- 99 problems/ encore
kevin little- turn me on

thats good for starters, a a good mix of rnb, hip hop and dancehall. Theres some of the newer stuff on now 65. Might have to get rnb gold collection (not the actual name) or rnb 2006 for a good selection of the rest.

;-) good luck with it
