I dont know if many of you use HMV for downloads ( Darren?) but im not having a lot of luck.

Tried last Tuesday to get 10 tracks only to get an error message after trying to download, no tracks on my computer--just empty music folders.

Needless to say my credit card has been hit for the money.:(

An email was sent complaining nearly a week last Tuesday--needless to say no reply:(

Anyone had similar problems, if so how did you resolve it?

Angela has suggested going to the credit card company --I am annoyed at maybe having to phone HMV at my expense when they offer email---

I haven't used HMVs download service Alan, sorry.

I have had the same sort of issues with Woolworths and Napster though and find both of their customer service rubbish. None of them seem to have any technical skills at all.

Darren, are we talking tracks not downloading and being charged on the credit card?

Still no response from useless HMV---im going to upset somebody down there tomorrow on the phone--enough is enough

thanks

They eventually refunded my money, but I wanted the tracks and not a refund. All Woolworths customer service staff say, is they have re-issued the licence so it should be OK now, which of course it wasn't....

I used to use HMV, found it to be totaly unreliable with the same problems as you are having. The software is very poorly written in my opinion, an applocation such as this should not have to relie on the Microsoft .NET framework as it's backbone. Have now moved over to Napster, been using it for abour 4-5 months now with no problems so far.

Thanks Pulse---did you get your money back?

I dont want the tracks now--downloaded them from somewhere else naturally,as Darren said.

For any downloading I do, I use i-tunes. 100% reliable every time.
