Happy Days by Pratt & McLean.

How's that for sad?

I can remember buying 3, so I'm not sure of the order of shame (someone could list the order of shame for me).

One is the cooler than a cucumber in a cool box in a freezer surrounded by cool things "Bowie-Ashes to Ashes" the other not so cool as a tip top melting in the sun " Abba- Does your mother know" and dare I say the Oh my god its so not cool that I have my head stuck in an oven on gas number 7 "Bright Eyes"

But I then caught up on Punk and New Wave :D

Simpsons - Do The Bartman

:o :o :o

I just spat me tea out!
Seriously?? Simpsons????

I salute you for being brave enough to admit that in public:bowdown:
not that you bought it (I did!) but that it was your first, I would have lied...

My first record bought for the purpose of DJing was Sister Sledge's "Frankie", but I did have some records already.

1st tune i personally bought ( i had been given records for xmas before)was Adam & the Ants - "Stand & Deliver"
around May 1981 (on a day trip to Ayr in Scotland)

1st Album was
Adam & The Ants - "Kings Of The Wild Frontier"
(with birthday money coz the Price Charming Album wasnt out yet) around Sep 1981.
Still have both to this day and both are still played.

I remember geting albums called "Space Invader" & "Radioactive" (both on Ronco Records) im sure around 1979/80 and i had a few singles some of which were "Marys Boy Child" by Boney M, "Heart OF Glass" by Blondie, "Cars" by Gary Newman & "Are Friends Electric" by Tubeway Army.

I had another album of Chart hits on K-Tel records from xmas 1979 but i cant remember name of it
