It's halfway through the Xmas party season.

I've done 7.....and not one request for Xmas songs....RESULT!!!:D :D

I've only had to play Christmas songs at one so far, and that was background music during the meal.

Did a charity ball on monday luckily no one asked so didnt play anything. But the friday night they requested a christmas song so I gave them shaking stevens as they were rock n roll type people.

I love it, i play 2hrs of xmas b/ground during the meal, and then mixed into the main set play, mariah carey, shaky and band aid....lol, and finish the night to john & yoko.

:o well the xmas party night that i did at the local hotel on saturday night had most of the shop workers from the kingdom centre,as you can immagine the last thing they want to hear at a party night is xmas tunes as they hear them all day in the shop.
i did finish the night of with a dmc xmas megamix though.

Fraid to say that most parties I have done only expect them during warm up or as background music to meals by then they sick of them and want normal music xmas tunes are very parsay now
