sorry for crap quality of pics - dunno why there this bad.

but it went out last night to a xmas party for some adults with difficulties. A crap drive over broke down on way (fianlly vidicated as wife always moans I leave too early. Finally arrived onsite 20 mins before gig was booked to start.

and couldnt use the top bar as ceiling to low, but needed some lights so used the 2 soundlabs i have - problem solved - and not too bright to affect those there who suffer from epolepsy...

Too be honest am surpised at the sound of the rig, infact will be using it more !!!!!

Out again tonight, was supposed to go out with the big rig, but on checking van over it appears as if head gaskets gone, waterpumps broke and to top it all of altinator has packed up. Luckily for me the small rig fits in me skoda !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks neat Creature - less is more type thing!

Could you not adjust the stand so that the top bar could be used lower? The only other thing I would mention, is having you tripod legs spread further out for safety reasons.

I used to use a Powerpod for karaoke - great little bit of kit, but a bit of a pain to be using rotary controls though.

Unfortuantly not as bottom bar was on the floor. I am looking for another pair that I will chop a foot off makeing this issue almost non existant.

The tripod legs were as there are as not enough room - I did check them for stability before starting and were rock solid.

I didnnt use them channels I cheated and used tape in sockets an dtehn used me mixer to sort the sound out :)

unfotuantly not able to get tranny fixed so had to use the small rig again last night. in a very large room with 500 plus people. had her flat out and she just about help up.

I rarely comment on setups in a negative way - but get your power sorted - looks 'nasty' in the fourth piccy.

Looks good ..... i'm no certified sparky but, you really should not have a coiled cable still wound on the carrier, this adds to heat induction especially when you are pully that kind of ampage, if you have those windup cable extenders you really should unravel them. Just an observation.

the cable is designed to fit on the top bar - which I said I couldnt fit.... and as I had no spare leads to cable direct as in each light bag has its own leads - something which I am working on

Normally I dont leave it coiled up but as I stated earlier was late and just wanted to get everything setup ASAP so the quests would not know that there was an issue.

but i like it when peopel comment - i dont take offence normally because some of them in previous threads have proved very helpful to me :):)

is that a lighting effect balanced on top of a speaker, Creature?

not a good idea, in case it gets knocked off :attn:

also definitely unwind your extension reel, or have a short extension as well as a reel.

and I'm with Daz on the tripods - personally I like the legs spread as far as they'll go :p :D :D

have already answered that question - no room for top bar - as on stage music not loud (these people were all disabled) put lights theres to provide some atmosphere. Unfortuantly If I had taken me large lightbox they would not have been needed.
