Mind you the intimidators are lighter and more compact than the dynamo's. Might make a difference to some people.

Not much, the Dynamo's are 3.8Kg and the Intimidators are 4.26Kg!

Beat me to! I have just bought 4 Dynamo scans. Very very good light. Don't be put off by them being 100W, they are actualy brighter than some 250W lights I own.

As Daz has said, you can get four cheaper which would include a case and controller as well.

The punters won't really be bothered about what the gobo's look like. Don't think there that much better though, and not worth paying extra IMHO. The gobo's on the dynamos and nice and sharp.
