Guys,
Am struggling to find a company to do my PAT checks here in Belfast

Any of my fellow NI crew recommend anywhere?

Just researching the same topic in Northern Ireland, I see by your web site you are awaiting PAT validation so assume you found someone.

Could you point me in the right direction.

Am a newby ( might have seen in other forum), just about to pick my own kit up and I do not intend to do any work without both PLI and PAT so any advice would be welcome.

Welcome, good to see another NI fellow on here.

Hi Guys,
Yes I managed to get it done by funnily enough Belfast PAT testing, here's a link for you below.

You need to speak to Micheal Lavery as he deals with the bookings. They came out to me and took about an hour to do my 60 odd items. Bill was £146 incl vat.

Hope that helps.

..took about an hour to do my 60 odd itemsReally!  ... that's less than a minute per item!!! Not sure how they could possibly do the visual, the testing, the entering of details and the labelling in that time! Most say to allow a maximum of 20 items per hour for testing in my experience..... unless, of course there was more than one of them there  If there wasn't more than one person, and assuming it was all done properly (which I'm not suggesting that it wasn't), I'd love to know their secret!!!

There was 2 of them!

One of them did the visual then passed it to the other one who plugged it in to a machine, typed in the item description, machine went beep, had a big tick pop up on the display and it printed a sticker!
