I've seen this on a couple of other forums and thought I'd put it here too.
On the night of 7th january between the hours of 10:30 and 3:00am we have had our ford transit van stolen which had a load of our disco equiptment in it, if you get approched by anyone trying to sell you used disco equiptment please let us know.
some of the disco equiptment that got stolen can be seen at: www.funkytowndisco.co.uk
list of equiptment was:
3 x par 36 pin spots
3 x mirror balls
2 x skytec bassbins.
2 x rcf speakers
1 x uv light
2 x soundlab vastos
1 x 4ft deck stand with lighting rig above
2 x speaker stands
1 x twin cd player cased with mixer
2 x custom 4 channel light screens (approx 2ft square white glass front)
2 x custom dj front signs these are about 5ft x 4ft one signwritten with "Sound Innovation Profesional Mobile Disco" the other "Funky town discotheque"
1 x smoke machine
1 x phillips cdr
and number of leads
the van was a Blue long wheel base ford transit with a black strip along the bottom on both sides, the back of the van had a bracket with padlock on it and blacked out windows (on the rear only)
Any information would be great, also please advise other discos in the area in case the same people strike again.
