Thank you. Parents are the most pleased, as they've been taking me all over the place for gigs over Christmas!

****, my secret is out...:(
..and mine!
ahhh ...... the good 'ole days of the horse'n'transit :D
That's when a battered van really was a battered van. I remember being stopped late one night going home, and the copper asking if I lost any equipment falling out of the rust holes! He was actually taking the p :D
That's when it was nice to stop for a 5 minute chat will a policeman late at night, being grateful that they were doing a good job looking out for criminals. The next time he stopped my van it could have been nicked.
I was never stopped late at night in a van for doing anything wrong like speeding, no seat belt, defective vehicle etc, they were just checking you hadn't been up to no good.
These days they're only interested in the vehicle being roadworthy and taxed. :(

which also helps safe drivers like you and I as if the vehicle isn't roadworthy and smashes into you it could kill you, and if its not taxed then you dont get an insurance payout on them.
Both of which are a criminal offense so effectively they are still out looking for criminals.
