Hi Guys,
Wondered how bookings are going for you. It was really quiet last week

This week so far 4 confirmed bookings and it's only tuesday!!!

I've had quite a few enquiries over the last week. 3 confirmed bookings out of them.. all for the summer though.

Gigs from Jan - April are few and far between, although one did confirm thi week for Feb that had enquired all the way back in November!

its quiet here really quiet and think im well and truly up against the cheaper option but thats life have had one or two referals that havent liked my prices and done a few quotes over the last few weeks ....... i actually think im very reasonable but not when your up against 110 quotes.

and i refuse to sell myself short anymore ive had little in the way of self belief for 30 years and im not backing down.

im getting all of the "weve had you before" bookings and one or 2 are coming my way so when all the cheapies are booked im sure ill come into my own ... not panicing.

I swear no one has parties/discos around here....and when they do, they want them all at the same time.

Had a client cancel their booking for this Saturday, it was confirmed, but was still waiting on a contract back from her. So now we're £250 down this weekend :( - and better yet staying in for Saturday Night TV. Had a couple of bookings this week, one for March, and a band night for Feb.

Oh well, battle on!

Yup very quite round here as well. Hopfully I may be out on Saturday night just taken an enqiry last minuet booking, then out again the following Saturday.
Got lots of bookings after that, so it will pick up.

Bit more work around here at the moment already having to turn some people down due to dates filling up, taken 7 confirmed booking in last week and a half including 2 for feb and 2 for jan, most are for august though already booked up solid for august. Compared to this time last year it6s a big improvement so far, hope it continues. Lots of repeat clients to , the old i was at my friends wedding you were the Dj type calls.
Certainly not complaining, only my second year in northants since moving up from down south but already almost as busy as i was down there.
