davey, i would always suggest either ritech dye disc's although i have never had any problems with datawrite, which are cheap to buy. I worked for the sole distributer of these disc's and sold them to dabs, svp, you name it. They are very good disc's

Hi,
I think I have tried nearly all of them. Before backing up to hard disc I always used to back up to cd. If your music disc contains graphics, video's etc, or even cdg's. Then the best ones to go for are the black sideded ones. The plastic ones by the way. They are not as cheap as most, but your data is protected longer from the ligh by the nature of the media, i.e., black and scratchproof.
You can buy them in bulk on the following:

Hope this was helpful;)
