I have seen a behringer compressor knocking about that has a dial where you can alter when you turn it, it changes the bass from soft to hard but i cant find it anywhere would anybody on here know where i can find this model all it is to turn my bass bins less sub into a bit more punch:D cheers:beer1:

Sounds like the Composer, but an older one, the Composerpro 11 lost this feature. Would be better off setting a graphic with a notch filter in my opinion to give a tighter bass. This only an opinion though.

I think Gillo means the Bellringer Ultrafex, as opposed to a comp/limiter.

I use both types in my home for playing about with,, don't use them on the road.

You can use a comp/lim to change the bass, but at what cost to the rest of the sound?

Prob end up with audio pumping, which is a by product of compressing.

The EX3200 might be better for what he wants, but then why nee dit in the first place.

If you're system can not produce the right type of bass, then forcing it to do so isn;t always the right answer. Be best to upgrade the sound system.

Effect processors should realyl be used to tame nasty tracks, rather than to enhance the overall system.
