Need some help here i,m brain dead!
I want a Gigaport sound card to connect direct to amp. So giga card has two phono outputs per channel, what adaptor can i get to connect 2 phonos to one xlr?

I saw these but that would only allow one phono per channel?
am i thinking straight or should i go to bed?

Go to bed, WHY would you want to connect a stereo signal to a mono input ?
If it is not that then why not make a decent phono to xlr lead for the job ? it would work out a shed load cheaper.

How are your soldering skills?
Buy yourself 2 x phono plugs, a single XLR plug and 2 small bits of single core + screen audio cable.
Then just wire the two phonos into the single XLR, with the screen as Pin 1, linked with pin 3, and the two lives to pin 2.

thanks, so short pin 1 and 3 with the screen.
All i,m after is as mentioned in an earlier thread, to connect a laptop running pcdj via a soundcard direct to amp without the need of a mixer.
oh and very good at soldering

Yes, the tip (+) of each phono to Pin 2 of XLR, then sleeve on each phono to Pins 1 and 3 (bridged together).
Before you go ahead, check on your amplifier that Pin 2 is +, 99% of amps are wired in this way, but worth checking to be sure.
