Is it worth waiting for the Denon. What does the Denon do that the Cortex doesn't??

the cortex bounces well...

think it will totally depend on what you are used to and what you want from the machine?

When you have a minute, watch the Denon video which is posted elsewhere on the site - it is quite long but most informative!

Seen the vid. Very impressed. Apart from the scratch facility I cant see too much benefit to the Denon. And yes I have seen the post on you bouncing your Cortex!! Does the Denon bounce well??

Exactly, I just want to avoid hundreds of discs and call up music quickly from a hard drive and cue it ready to start when the existing track runs out.

So it suits my very basic needs, obviously others require more sophisticated features.

The unit is only compatible with the Denon 4000 or 4500 dual cd decks.

Apart from the scratch facility I cant see too much benefit to the Denon.

There are sooooo many, starting with the basics.

I'm sure that I read March somewhere recently.

Numark was due January 16th but was again put back for no adverstised reason. My guess is they found a fault or driver glitch and decided to wait for a bit. I was waiting for it but gave up and got the cortex instead.
