OK Guys and Girls

I am looking to add a couple of flower type effects to my rig and wanted some advice

wanted strobe and rotation , as i used to use opti strobe flowers and loved the effect although now I am sure the same effect can be done without a car sized unit

I saw the Falcon and liked the contractiing gobo and they do a HTI version now

seen the evl spins

and the datamoons

what think you lot are Discharge lamps always going to be brighter
as my Intimidator 2s are specced at a brighter candle power than the same in HDI , so whats the better options ? and which are going to make me smile the most?

The more you water the flower, the brighter it gets. Bbut be warned, if you over water it, the flower will die.

On a serious note though, the falcons are very nice indeed.

I really can't image using a discharge flower unless in a massive venue.

I use a couple of Twister 4s, which are 250w halogen and always have to put the lampsaver switch on 'cos they are so bright.

Well had a word with someone who sells these types and he said the discharge falcon is not as bright as the halogen, just bulb life as the selling point and at twice the price does not seem that clever a buy.
anyone using the spins ? and how much nicer than the Falcon?
