Professional logo design can normally cost anywhere from £50 - £400+. Some lucky members will receive one absolutely free as a thank you for supporting the site. But as they say..."you gotta be in it to win it". :)

I've drawn the winner this morning and I've been working on the logo.

I've tried to keep away from the strong blue tones that I've used in some of the earlier logos....opting this time for some softer pastel colours which I think are fun, and work well with the design concept. These can be altered (if need be) to suit the winners own tastes.

The colours can be tweaked to your exact specifications. I was thinking maybe a nice soft salmon tone could be used instead of the pink?. I'll work with you trying different colours till we get it just perfect for you.

Not me you didn't (I don't know if we have any gay members), just a good point to remember is that not all gay / lesbian couples are into the "pink" thing (or stereotypical choices of music for that matter)

Slight tweak to the colouring. I've deepened the colouring on the pink and blue so it's more 'striking', and not so soft.

I've also included a preview of the same design that's been tilted on it's axis...which gives it a different look.

Our festive winner is Penmare42.

I've already been in touch with Tony and tweaked the design to suit his preference.

I've gone with a 'galaxy star system' type thing for his logo....to tie it in with his company name. Congratulations Tony, glad you like the finished product.

Look out for another new winner early in the New Year

One thing I never understood about the incredible hulk though...

...when Dr David Banner changed into the hulk, he obviously got much bigger, so his shirt ripped & he threw it off...

...and yet he still managed to wear the same trousers as before, without any problems!

They must have been a bit tight around the waist!

I signed up a few weeks ago.

We have just had a logo made, which we are pretty happy with. But, change can sometimes be a good thing and it could suit us better.

If we are lucky enough to be "The Chosen One" :D Could you incorporate SJS Discos and Mobile Discos For All Occasions in to it somehow please. Also, possibly the website: www.sjsdiscos.co.uk

Hi Guys,

First, thank you all for supporting the site. It really is appreciated and helps towards the dedicated server costs, which allows us to keep on providing the forum as a resource for all you DJs.


Regarding the logo lottery. I'm unsure where to take this idea. I'm a little disheartened if I'm completely honest.

3 members that won logos now no longer continue to support the site. And seven more that became supporters and requested entry into the draw no longer support the site either. These logos take a great deal of time, thought and hard work to complete. The logo lottery was started as a way of giving a little back to those members that offered continious support to the MDD forum.

The Logo lottery may continue at a later date, but it will only be available to long term supporters.

Once again, thank you to each and every one of you for your £1 per month donation. It's a little that goes a long way. THANK YOU!!!
