I've only heard them a couple of times so am not really qualified to an opinion on that.

for a 200 person gig i manage fine with 2 b1 bins and one l1 "pole" , if its if pants wetting stomach churning bass you're after then its not for you, but if you apppreciate all of the frequencies superbly reproduced including bass then hello bose!

I have heard the system once, in a medium sized room, with the two Bass Modules and it seriously lacked in bass, playing Jazz and slow stuff. Obviously I wouldn't expect lots of bass output from such a small package, but I can't see how it would cope with any heavy music, R'n'B, Dance etc.

Seems to cope well for me for all sorts of music, there's enough on the dance floor, plus people talking sat down at tables can do just that, talk! Plus its projection means that everyone can hear the music without it totally dominating the event. And great vocal reproduction for speeches, conferences etc.

oh 802's have been used for outdoor events for years, and good for conferences and presentations, with the 502 bin as well..yummy.

Don't forget though, you HAVE to use the proper bose system controller or they will sound pants
