Help With Ultimax DJ Stand

Hi.Got a problem with my 1.4 metre Ultimax stand in which i can,t fit deck/mixer/deck. Now i know you can get the extra crosspieces,(1.6 or 1.7) but than what size t bar do i get?
Also you can get the Ultimax Auxilary Shelf ,(i think i,ll get two if i do get them).Could i put the mixer on on of these,(Pioneer DJM 500: W=12.5 inches/Length= 14 inches)Has anyone on this forum used/using them?
I,d rather use the shelving as i don,t want to discard the old crosspieces and than i could use the shelving at a later date for a laptop.Any help would be appreciated as i email Ultimax customer services but no answer from them!

I have lots of ultimax bits including 2 of the shelves. I only use one of the shelves during a normal gig (for the laptop) can be seen here (600mm deckstand) (http://www.vibrant-sounds.co.uk/compactoutfit.html) and I adapted it by drilling a 10mm hole about 3" in from each end of the supprt bar to allow it to fit on the uprights without covering half of the deckstand area. I only use the second shelf if I am doing Karaoke and I use it to put the Karaoke disks on.

I also bought a couple of accessory horns see here (1200mm deckstand) (http://www.vibrant-sounds.co.uk/standardoutfit.html) for my speakers which makes the rig much more compact and has a smaller footprint.

Also a good buy for the Ultimax stand is the DJ stand Curtain, which can be used to hold a starcloth.

I bought most of my bits from CPC who with free postage over a certain amount meant for good prices.

Thank you very much Eddie.I wonder if the mixer being on a shelf would vastly
obscure my vision of the turntables? I would use the extension arm,plus use the other shelf for the Numark cd player.
Any one else got any ideas? I,ve got a gig on the 17th of March and i need
help ASAP!

May have misled you slightly, I use the 32mm clamp version of these (http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=ST01167) rather than the plain shelf. As you can see the clamp attaches to the middle of the shelf and I felt this encroached over the deck area so drilled a 10mm hole about 3" in from each end to allow me to position it to the side of the deckstand.
