cleaning Big Flame effects?? How do I...

I have 4 large flame effects and am getting slightly peed off when they drop due to not haveing enough air flow. I have 2 Chauvet ones and 2 Source ones (Zoom). If you could suggest any easy ways to clean these things out as I have sort of started to take them apart and it seems like a pig of a job. Can you get any better quality ones that are easy clean. This seems a common problem.

I know this isn't anything to do with cleaning, but I've found with the little ones I have, that you need to change the silks every now and then otherwise they start flapping all over the place.

buy an air duster from maplins and just spray it into the fan.

That or if you have an air compressor works well. I use isopropal alchol myself for cleaning fans etc. Takes time but is very good long term.
