The Pioneer mixer isn't 19", so you have to get something to fit it inside first.

I think you can get brackets for the DJM 500/600/800.

Ah hah - yes you can:

that case doesn't look like it would last very long on the road, when we get these type of cases in for pat testing (the equipment inside, not the case - just before someone tries to get smart  ) we often find the catches broken.

if you're taking out a decent Pioneer mixer, worth a few extra quid to get a decent flightcase with recessed butterfly catches, that will last the rigours of the road

I agree about the flightcase, and I would also suggest swapping the mixer for a 19" mixer, I tried to go down the '12" mixer in a 19" rack' route - waaay too much hassle! :)

If it's got purpose-built 'ears' available to buy, it shouldn't be a problem to rack-mount it in a 19" case, though.

Yeah, that's what I thought with my Denon DN-X1500, but the rackmount kit I bought for it was very poorly designed, and it sagged incredibly under the weight :(

If you think about, it's impossible for it not to sag. However, it's only really an aesthetics thing, so if you are happy with it...
