Hi ladies and gents, new member alert...!!!. Not sure wether I should be just saying hello in this forum or giving the full story!. Going for the latter, but will give you the short version, (yawn!). Recently went along with a work colleague who has been dj'ing for 3 years to help on a 70's 80's night, (he's too young to remember), and had a ball. Did some dj'ing myself for 4 years 1982 - 86. Got the bug again, doh!. But a bit lost in the technical side of things these days. Looking to set up again, at minimal cost with a basic set up, possibly lap top with cd's. Obviously need enough to get going, lights etc, any advice or direction gratefully received.
