Another newby here from N-Ireland

I have been doing some work with another local DJ for the last 3 years. He is now beginning to wind his business up due to other committments, and it is time to spread my wings and go on my own. I hope to pick up some of the work he won't be doing and have just invested a reasonable amount of cash into my own kit. Any tips would be welcomed.
