i am after a cheap truss system with stands to hold upto 120kg.
needed for one gig so not too dear.
would this be any good, safe etc?

Well it says it holds 120kg, but it doesn't say who the manufacturer is.
Don't know if I would trust it or not, seems OK.

nothing, i just need a stand to put lights on away from where i,ll be stood, so not attached to stand.

That looks like the skytec one, I used to have it, the truss is excellent but the stands are utter cra*p. I bought some wind up ones and used it on them with 4 abstract xp's and 4 colour changers with no problems at all

Something to hold the stands if i dont use the deck stand. Maybe a concrete slab.:D

The guy at Ultimax said to me when I bought my stand that it 'probably' could and I do remember having a catalouge with them in, but not sure about it now - ring Andy Tain at Ultimax, he'll be able to give you some ideas.
