It's part of an unofficial free dmx project. Some of us here have heard of (and indeed own :D ) the Enttec USB-DMX wink-wonk.

The software is indeed home made and doesn't pretend to be anything else!
And it's FREE :)

If you want a reliable solution backed by guarentees then you gotta pay.....

I think the open DMX project is great, especially for nerds like me who like to tinker with such things :cool:
It's a bunch of fellow nerds who can do some programming having a go and sharing it with the world. Brilliant. Bring it on :D
