Are these wind up stands ok. Not required to be used often as i have an ultimax, but require seperate rig.
Any thoughts quality etc

I think they're similar to the Prolight winch stand which I used to own.

They're ok, fairly solid, but I have heard some horror stories about cheap stands and truss, so I personally would spend the extra couple of hundred and get something decent, even if it was only for occassional use.

That can't be correct, can it? I just looked at that and thought it must be wrong!

I suppose there are three pieces of truss that might weaken it though? I can't see it though myself.

Yeah.. must be a mistake, but i even range CPC back when i was considering it and they couldn't get me an answer... they just said that was the info they had from the manufacturer.

I did try ringing DAP in holland, but they were closed at the time.

That could be the max weight for a central load.. so the even load would be around 100kg.. but i'd like to be sure personally, should it ever come to a PLI claim! :eek:
