Your no1 CD

We all have a CD we near enough play songs from at every gig we do. Mine would, without a doubt be my School disco collection (School Disco.com). Great stuff, always find something for everyone.

It’s not a trade secret, we are all supposed to help each other!

What are your No1 CD's?

I'll second the School Disco series, also the Re-united series, obviously the Now series (although for the amount of tracks on them, they aren't that great, but they are the only real consistent collection worth getting)

Also 'Motown Dance Party', 'Mastermix - The Sixties Box', a double CD entitled 'Happy Songs' (!), and the legendary triple CD 'Ultimate Party Animal' :D

Well you must have backed songs from CD's or what was the best when you did use?

School Disco.com series for me as well.. i have PCDJ setup so all the albums have their own subgroup, and I often find myself looking in the folders for these albums for inspiration.

Theres also the MoS Disco Classics CD that soundtracker recomended on here a while ago, and the DMC soul funk and disco set that get used all the time.

I have to say the Club classics CD get a fair workout most gigs - think that's what it's called - 3 CD set, blackish cover...

Also find the Mastermix 60's and 80's set (the £10 jobbies) very useful

Must use the greatest hits of motown the most its a 4cd set and has all the best stuff on it. Agree with the now disks as well simply because they cover a wide band of music since the 80's

Even though I'm pretty much all PCDJ, I do take the CDs and always find The Blue Brother's Soundtrack sitting in one of the CD drawers.

Unless you've managed to get hold of a product that isn't on the market yet, that still plays CDs (MP3 CDs maybe, but CDs none the less)
