Just picked up my Ulitmax deck/dj stand (1.2m, double crossbar).

Mine hasn't come with any instructions! It seems pretty straight forward, but I just want to ensure that I have it correctly. The ultimax site (well the photos) is still down and the other sites I have looked at don't give any details as to how to assemble it plus the photos aren't that clear.

The bit I am most concerned about is how to attach the crossbar to the uprights!

Then the other smaller problem (I think I have it right) is the uprights attached to the base. On the side, does the twisty thing (black circular thing with lots of grooves on the edge) go at the top or the bottom? Which ever it is the bolt & wing-nut goes in the oppposite - correct?

If anyone knows of a site with instructions or has a larger good quality image I can use - then please you post a link to it? Or if you have photos of the crossbar/uprights & the base/uprights please could you post these?

Thank you if you can help!

The bit I am most concerned about is how to attach the crossbar to the uprights!

The dual cross-bar is in two pieces and slots together. Make sure thet they are slotted together coreectly and line up as the long threaded screw goes through the holes and gets tightened with the wing nut.

You should have got two 'connectors/adaptors' with the kit (black in colour) with the bottom of each going onto the upright poles. You'll need the ensure that the crossbar is equidistant across both uprights and then remove the appropriate 'spacer bars' on the crossbars to make it fit and solid.

On the side, does the twisty thing (black circular thing with lots of grooves on the edge) go at the top or the bottom? Which ever it is the bolt & wing-nut goes in the oppposite - correct?

You should notice that both poles that go into the side frames have three/four holes in each. This enables you to heighten the crossbars when connected to the secondary poles. When you have chosen the right height for you, put the long headed screw through each side and do up with the wing nut. The black screw (lots of threads and black hexagonal-ish head) then screws into the hole at the side of each of the two side frames to ensure that the poles are solid.

Hope this all makes sense.
