Following from this thread (http://www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=75390#post75390) What are your top tracks of the genre? (please only list tracks that are proven to actually work in a mobile disco situation & not just because they are of a certain genre. Also must be suitable for all ages)

It doesn't matter if you post a track that somebody else has, the idea is to find good useable tracks of the genre that are proven to work for mobile DJs

Please Stick to the specific genre in the thread title

Make the lists as long as you like as long as they are useable

Being a huge Numan fan since 1979 (for my sins), it's great to even see him get a mention.

Mine are :

Gary Numan - Cars
Soft Cell - Bedsitter
The Human League - Love Action
Tubeway Army - Are 'friends' electric?
Duran Duran - Hungry like the wolf
OMD - Enola Gay
Spandau Ballet - Chant No1
Yazoo - Don't go
Kraftwerk - The Model
Japan - Quiet Life
Depeche Mode - Just can't get enough
John Foxx - Underpass
Ultravox - Sleepwalk
Tears for fears - Pale Shelter
Eurhythmics - Sweet Dreams
New Order - Blue Monday
Visage - Fade to grey
Adam and the ants - Prince Charming
Culture Club - Church of the poison mind

I could go on...but I won't. I love doing these kind of nights!

Thought I'd add to this section as I did a wedding the other week where the groom wanted an early 80's/new romantic mini-set - So I did the following songs, they were all mixed so the BPM runs from around 113/5 up to 142/44. This little min-mix went down a storm on the night and I then used it for a different event, same result :D

1. Visage - Fade To Grey
2. Blancmange - Living on The Ceiling
3. ABC - Poison Arrow
4. Yazoo - Don't Go
5a. Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough (single version)
into
5b. Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough (Live 101 version) at the start of the secong synth riff
6. Duran Duran - Girls On Film
7. Duran Duran - Planet Earth
8. Japan - Quiet Life
9. Haircut 100 - Love Plus 1
10. OMD - Enola Gay
11. Spandau Ballet - To Cut A Long Story Short (I used 'Gold' the second time (not new romantic) but a better song, same BPM more or less, and a better mix into soft cell IMO)
12. Soft Cell - Tained Love
