Would anyone Recomend a CD Pool

I am condidering joining a cd pool again, i have in the past used the cd pool but im looking at all of them mastermix, dmc etc, does anyone else use them or is this now just a waste of money in this day and age of downloaded music, the main reason im asking is because i often get asked for stuff thats not available as such, everyone seems to be getting stuff earlier and earlier now, the problem i had last time with the cd pool was the music was 80% rubbish and never seemed to chart, do they really know who will hit the charts weeks before its released or is it all guess work.

i use prodisc series which i have found to be quite good personally .... i used to use promo only but like yourself 80% of the tracks started to be flops and not chart so i switched.

I find CD POOL to be aimed more at club DJ's. Although some of there discs could be of use for some gigs. DMC's chart/dance cd is used by just every club DJ i know, and they swear by them.

Mastermix has gone down the nick big time recently, i have no use anymore for their issue or pro disc.

I get the Mastermix Pro disk and the CD Pool Radio Disk each month, I find that this covers most eventualities for me, occasionally I have to buy the odd additional track on CD but do not find it to much of a problem.

I think this months Pro Disk 80 to be very good actually.

If you're quick you can get a 12 month subscription to both radio and dance discs for £270, which works out at £22.50 a month! Offer runs out today though.

Personally, i use napster for all my tracks.. but if i were to go back to cd promos i think cd pool would be the best for me. Radio and dance discs, would be my choice.. which you can get as a package for £30 a month, which is what i spend on napster each month, on average.

Personally, i don't rate pro disc and never have. Whenever i see the new tracklisting i usually have most of the tracks from napster already. And they seem to miss some of the really obvious choices and pad the discs with rubbish instead.
