Dynamo Scan problem

Hi Folks

A couple of weeks ago I was running my 4 dynamo scans at a gig and I heard one of the scans pop and the light went out.
After getting it home I changed the bulb and still no light??? I have tried several bulbs but to no joy. The motor is running and the mirror is turning but can get the light to fire up. Does anyone have any ideas what the fault could be?

i had this exact thing took it in and got it fixed under warrenty really sorry but cant remember what they told me the fault was ...... kept blowing fuses try looking at the fuse in the socket on the dynamo..... prob i had meant it kept blowing them as soon as you put one in... im sure with what ive described someo one can diagnose the problem with more technical know how.

Could be the lamp holder? Try replacing that if they're not still under warranty.

ive had to replace the lampholders on all my dynamos

yes, i agree, most poss cause is the lamp holder. they dont seem to last long in most lighting effects these days. try replacing it.

lucky you when i got mine i had to get all the lamp holders attached to the units ... just rattling around inside .... seriously lol
