Midlands meet up Tuesday 13th March 2007

Hi all just thought i'd post here on this forum as know there are a few midlanders on here but there will be a bit of a meet up for all us midlanders next tuesday 13th March 2007....

Havent got an exact venue YET! but it will be either Bromsgrove or Redditch...

Starts around 7.30pm.

So any one interested in joining us?

That's the problem - we are all spread out all over the midlands and everyone wants it closer to them.... it's taken 3 weeks to narrow it down to bromsgrove or redditch....

Ha Ha HA well the argument on location could go on and on and on BUT it will be either bromsgrove or redditch this time no other areas.... for this one anyway... maybe next time we can move it...

Personally i prefer redditch too :) but i think it will prob end up being bromsgrove

Yup.. was about a 240mile round trip in the end last night! And Birmingham to Bromsgrove is hardly much of a journey Jamie!

hmmmm well might actually change it to redditch as spoke to a local landlord and he might be able to do us pizza if we hold it there so unless everyone wanting to turn up really does want bromsgrove (if so tell me asap)...

Yeah hope so too.... there's been a bit of take up on the other forums for it - some of them i've never met so should be good.. Just think it makes a change to meet up and relax rather than look at speakers all the time or lighting or have to pay to get in somewhere... Should be a good informal, relaxing way to get to know other dj's in the area.

ha ha ha yeah well i thought i'd speak to the landlord of Huggies and funny enough he said we could drink as much as we want and eat as much as we want for free in the queens head pub....

The landlord of the queens head didn't agree......... but he should be putting on pizza for us...

Would have preferred Huggies, as its my local LoL Seem to be always in there. The managements fine in there, but then giving something for free always makes people think twice :D

Yeah was good to put a few names to faces to people i didn't already know and was worth missing life on mars for :P Wasn't a massive turnout but could have been worse... and hey we did get free pizza and chips!!! :D

But yeah i got the usual mickey ribbed out of me and indirectly agreed to a comic relief fund raiser stunt at my local (well that's my excuse and im sticking to it!) that i'm really not sure about.... Will have to change it from a red dress so no one will spot it's me... :D:D:D That's if i actually go ahead with it.... after all it's not going to help me with winning over the females.... lol!

But i some how think it's going to be a very long weekend!!!!
