Hi Guys,

Just brought a Valera and having a little problem. basically when its on i flashes different colours but the colours whne they shine against the wall make out a vision of the bulb inside so you can see it twirling around inside......if that make any sense to anybody.

basically it doen't produce a straight forward clear light, the light is coming out in sort of shape of the bulb inside.:bang: :bang:

if anybody can help this situation it would be most apperciated.

thanks

Does the unit use a long thin bulb. If so then that is the efect you get for the unit same as the twisters the dot on the wall is just the bulb

It's not really a thin bulb. light the size of a square battery (but roundish). cause i had it running but the image on the wall are in the shape of the bulb inside.

FS, This is the same with all these types of lights. I think what you're referring to is that you can see the shape of a bulb filament projected onto the wall. This is because it doesn't use a dichroic reflector lamp so you simply get a filament shape on the wall as opposed to a circle or gobo. This is perfectly normal mate don't worry. There are two lamps inside the valera aren't there?

This is sometimes more evident if the unit reflects against a wall to close to it.
