giraffe or similar deck stand

I need to know the dimensions of this stand if anyone has one or a similar one.

The two most common size of stands are 4ft and 6ft.... but the one in the link does look rather narrow???????

Why do you need to know?

At a rough guess going by the height/width in relation to length, I'd say about 600mm give or take

It does seem odd that they say it's suitable for bedroom / small venue & then don't give full dimensions

im looking for a good 4ft deck stand use a small ultimax one at the moment which i love ... dont need a cross bar just the stand and it has to be collapseable any recommendations appreciated ... thanks.

Is your ultimax this one (http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=ST00974) if so, you can buy the 1200mm sides direct from ultimax.

I had the 1200mm version and bought the 600mm sides (cost about £25 inc postage). I only tend to use the 1200 sides now when I am doing karaoke.

this looks very much like the base to my prolight stand which i have used for many years try taking a look on there website and see if there stands compare.

mine is around the 4ft mark.

ive seen this on ebay but dont know if i could put my 450s safely on the poles and to be honest at 4ft apart i think it would look a bit naff and id not get a good spread of sound?

I wouldn't use that unless space is very tight.

I use the 4ft normal ultimate stand with outriggers (horns) see here (http://www.vibrant-sounds.co.uk/standardoutfit.html) but the outriggers will not take the weight of the SRM450s, I use them with a pair of SRM350s. Unless you are going to use the inserts supplied with the mixstation I would go for the standard 4ft ultimax (http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=ST00975) (splits down into four pieces with the removal of four knobs) I would then get a couple of 32mm poles to add accessories if required, such as horns (http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=ST01161) or shelves etc.
