Does anyone know of a legal site that i can download 250-300bps ish songs from for a good price?

There's not many mainstream sites that use that high a bit rate.

There are a few like the Ministry of Sound and more dance orientated sites that have files in Mp3 format at 320kbps, but you also pay more for them.

What kind of music are you after?

hmmm. I wouldn't worry to be honest. If you did find a site you'd probably end up spending more than the cost of a CD single.

If your using a budget sound system or that of a quality that isn't up there with the brands, it's probably pointless as you would loose the quality in the rest of the equipment.

There are alot of PC-DJers (and now HD-DJers) on this forum, all of which use bog-standard websites that allow you to download at 192 or whatever, and play these downloaded tracks week-in, week-out without complaints.

I'd stick with a 192 kbps track (or higher, if you can find it)

The higher bit rate tunes tends to be more club orientated rather than chart teen stuff.
