For everyone's benefit that didn't know, I googled and confirmed that these speakers are in fact passive, and as such, obviously don't require power cables. Just to clear that up...

NO HUMANS INSIDE ??????

Best check, just to make sure. A midget may have been accidently packed while they were putting the mains cables in.

Just received mine today, also come with power cables. Had to chuckle! Also had a chuckle about the NO HUMANS INSIDE!!!!

Gave them a test run in the lounge tonight, they sound fantastic. Very very chuffed, can't wait to gig them Friday night.

Has anyone also bought the Mackie bags for their's. Are they worth the money at nearly £100 for a pair of bags.

There is no way I'd spend £100 on a pair of bags......

.....but I might spend £100 on a pair of attractive young blondes ;) :p

I've got a pair for my 450s and yes they are essential.

I've had my 450s for almost 18 months and they are still immaculate.

Think I'll do a bit of shopping round, but will be getting some. Want to keep them immaculate.

LOL!!! The may well do, but the mackie bags are specicly designed for for the C300z's and SRM 450's and are much better quality and will probably protect much better.

Also, I would not insult Mackie by putting their speakers in Skytec bags!!!!! :)

Sometimes I think these companies are at it.. they're only bags! The sort of thing you wouldn't think twice about if they came free with the speakers

Might deter thieving scumbags...?

Actually, come to think of it, probably not. 'Sky' ... 'Tec' - two syllables. :p

If you had some you wouldn't say that.

If you pay a grand for a pair of 450s, surely it would be wise to protect your investment?

The bags are extremely well made, are padded and have pockets and decent zips on them. They are quite unlike any other bag I've ever used in terms of quality.
