Hi, welcome to forum, try advertising in the local newsagents/supermarkets. Most of my bookings come from word and mouth. Takes a long time to build up your rep as a dj.

Hope this helps!

The best form of advertising and gaining bookings (after word of mouth) is a good website.

Try visiting venues/pubs and offering them a discounted rate to "get your foot in the door". Also consider getting some flyers/posters printed and distribute them throughout your area. Business takes time to grow though.

Welcome along to the best forum on the WWW for dj's. The guys & gals in here will help you out loads. There are loads of archived posts which would be best to read through (tip: use the search button at the top :)) and everyone here is friendly enough to run your idea's past as well. Obviously making posts helps as well lol as it is a community and we are all here to help.

Good luck
