pre-party party

I'm at a local venue tonight and was able to get in early afternoon to set-up for tonights 21st Birthday.

The birthday girls mum and a bunch of aunties and friends were in the hall decorating it for the party. During my sound check and lighting test all the ladies dropped the decorations and hit the dancefloor..lol. I kept the momentum going for around 20 minutes or so and they all danced non-stop. It was the best fun 'setting-up' I've had in a long time, it's shaping up to be a great night.

Anyone else ever done a pre-party party? :D

Hi mate sounds like your in for a great night.

Had this at a 21st I done back in march last year was setting up and crowd of people come into the bar to make food etc and started my sounds on the mic etc and they started jumping around haha (think they had been at the bar before i came lol) Any way they started requesting songs lol was a great night must say dance floor full all night.

And tonight i have the plesure of being off and going to my bros pals engagement party. Hope its a good night will have to stop my self from moving over to the dj and saying " HI I'M A DJ TO " lol. Have a good night tonight if your out or off mind you eurovision making your mind up is on tonight lol.

Sounds great buddy - had one like that last year it was a good laugh, especially as i was peeved off as i had a puncture on the way - hence why i always prefer to set up in afternoon......
