Blimey that's steep.

Just renewed on my Peugeot Partner, me and the Mrs as named drivers, I'm 39 she's 34. 5 years NCD. Van's worth about 2k. Standard immobiliser and alarm. Parked on the driveway overnight (when not outside a venue!!). £185 all in with evaninsurance.co.uk

I hate you both! :D

Mine was £1188 on a transit, as a 20 year old with 6 points, no accidents, but my first policy in my own name.. so no "no claims"... and i thought that was a bargain!

Me too. "Carriage of own goods", "Entertainer". No specific option for "DJ" on their list.

Hey Vectis,

If you're 39... why does it say 42 on your Avatar!!

Well just going slightly off the subject, mine cost £450 for me, mrs named driver, i have 3 points and business insurance and I would recomend anyone with a van to get business insurance cos if your van gets done over
on the way to a gig like mine did, your equipment insurance will not pay out inless it is insured for business. You also have to have any rear windows completely blacked out so you cannot see in and any frontal view into the back covered too.

Still find it odd coz I used to be insured with evan and was told to find other insurance for my renewal in 2006 due to my occupation... Have been with egg insurance ever since but starting to find them pricey...
