Beard Or No Beard ?

Hi all

Just wondering if you think i should grow a beard ? lol. I was looking last night and thought i need a shave then looked again and thought mmm looks not bad so what you guys and gals think keep it or ditch it ??. Could even colour it red white and blue :P :rolleyes:

Some people suit em, some dont - it depends how thickly your facial hair grows. There's nothing worse than someone trying to grow a beard, when it obviously looks hideous and scraggly, but they are set on the idea :(

Well my hair is black and it grows in thick n fast so im gonna keep it i think it annoys my mum so am happy lol and its a pulling machine with the ladies just now ;) watch and learn lads lol.

I had a beard most of the time from age 18 till 50 but when my wife of 20 years ditched me for a toy boy for the millenium I decided that it had to go. It instantly rejuvenated me by a decade. If I were to grow it again it would be white; so it is a definate no no until I get much older. I still hate shaving though.

I used to have a beard but got older and this then started to turn grey...have you ever seen Santa in the middle of summer...:eek:

I then got rid of it by accident, tried to light a cigarette of the cooker once...you know forgot where you left your lighter, yep you guessed it went up like a forest fire - smelt the house down, wouldn't have minded but we were going out for the night, so the wife nipped down the corner shop for some razors so i could finish off what the cooker started.....that really hurt :( spent the rest of the night looking bright red. Felt a right pillock, everone asking ''are you alright?''

Now i've been beard free for quite a while and look younger...:)

Getting back to the thread - whatever takes your fancy..;)

Girls around your age group in general, and mine I'd say don't go for the beard thing. Maybe it's because you can't always pull it off properly until you hit the 20s.

If I leave my "face to grow" for more than a couple of days, I get moaned and groaned at by the "missus" and to be honest it don't look all that good, as it only grows in some places. I..e under my chin....no hope, however everywhere else "Down boy!".

I'd loose it personally.
